Lab facilities during summer 2026

Absence, Building closed

During the months of July and August, some of the staff will be enjoying holidays away from the lab. Therefore the availability of lab support will be limited.

• There will be fewer technicians available for technical support. Contact us by email to make an appointment for programming, experiment design, and so forth.
• We can not guarantee that there will always be a technician on-site, and the lab phone may not be manned every day. However, if you need support on a specific day, please contact us!
• The manager of the Babylab will be away from July 15th. Contact Desiree before then for matters relating to the Babylab.
• If you want to recruit adult participants through the ILS participant database, please contact Iris Mulders before July 14.

Furthermore,

• The summer closure of all Utrecht University buildings does not apply to the labs buildings: both Janskerkhof 13/13a and Drift 10 will be open July 20 – August 17, but only during the day, Monday-Friday 8.00-17.30h.
• From July 13th to 17th the lab will be closed due to the F&R department moving out, which will cause a lot of noise and commotion.
• From August 10th to 14th the lab will be closed due to the noisy Utrechtse Introductie Tijd (UIT-week). Strictly speaking the program runs from Monday-Thursday, but there probably will still be loud UIT-related cleanup activities on Friday the 14th.
